EASTERN SUBURBS, WOOLLOOMOOLOO AND BARANGAROO

Visit some of Sydney’s most beautiful beaches, historical places and vibrant locations.

At the end of the day we will ask you to spell Woolloomooloo!

Introduction

We will pick you up at your accommodation and return you to your accommodation at day’s end. The day is designed for your small group only (1-6). We are more agile than a big bus and a medium sized SUV allows for ease of parking and access to narrow streets. There is no need for us to make several pick-ups of other people or groups as the tour is for your group only. You will get to know your journey maker!

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Explore the Eastern Suburbs beaches of Bondi, Tamarama and Bronte and walk along a section of the scenic coastal pathway between Bondi and Bronte

  • Admire picturesque Watsons Bay and the scenic view from the rugged sandstone cliffs at the Gap

  • A short walk around Paddington provides the opportunity to see the architecture of historic terrace homes, quaint streets, designer shops and the serenity of Paddington garden reservoir.

  • Lunch at a cafe or restaurant in Surry Hills or East Sydney – options to be discussed on the day

  • Drive through vibrant Kings Cross as we head to the remarkable timber engineered Woolloomooloo Finger Wharf which never seems to end.

  • Make our way to the historic Rocks area and see Sydney’s new harbour foreshore playground, Barangaroo

  • Appreciate the engineering brilliance of the Sydney Harbour Bridge when we visit the Sydney Pylon Lookout

  • finish the day with an external walking tour of the opera house

Duration
