Big Design Market
Sydney Nimble Tours took the opportunity this morning to visit the Royal Hall of Industries which is hosting The Big Design Market (BDM). BDM has over 200 stall holders providing a diverse range of products including homewares, textiles, fashion, jewellery, ceramics, life style products, tech accessories and gifts.
BDM is an annual event which is open for only three days a year in December with today being the last day. The entrance fee is a very reasonable $2! If you are in Sydney in December 2019 when BDM is on Sydney Nimble Tours can include a few hours at this venue in any one of our tours.
We will soon be releasing a register of forthcoming Sydney events and exhibitions in 2019 that may be of interest to visitors to Sydney.
The first stall holder photograph below displays the work Emma Klau, www.glassbyemmaklau.com a glass artist, from South Australia. The decanter in the photograph actually rotates if it is gently moved and rapidly breathes decanted red wine. The wine glasses similarly rotate. Congratulations to Emma on a unique design.
The second photo shows the work of talented photographer, Remy Gerega, which has been transposed onto tote bags and quick-dry towels. The photos taken from a helicopter provide a great aspect of the scenery below and most impressively the photos cover different areas of Australia, including remote parts of Western Australia.
The final photo shows the exquisite Colombian influenced chocolates and patisserie products of Esti Garcia.
