Super

Greg communicated well from early on, he asked for my children’s ages to see if car seats were needed and took notes of food allergies. He also accommodated our request to make some changes to the itinerary last minute. The guided hiking tour was great, he made sure everyone was on track and took breaks as needed. The picnic lunch we had in the park was lovely. My son forgot his phone on Greg’s car at the end of the tour and he went out of his way to bring that back even though he was also looking for his backpack left behind. We appreciated having Greg as our guide and would definitely recommend him for others.

A wonderful tour with Greg!

We had a great time on our tour hiking with our very informative guide, Greg. We were treated to great views with a bit of wind and managed to see all the park had to offer. I can't recommend this tour enough and if your're asked to adventure a bit, give it a shot! You never know what you'll stumble on with Greg!

5 stars!

Greg is an excellent, flexible, knowledgeable guide about Sydney and its environs. We booked both the Royal National Park and Blue Mountain tours which were excellent. Greg easily adapted the tours considering my wife's limitations (near blindness) so that both of us could enjoy the great outdoors of Australia near Sydney. Greg is prepared to hike so if you desire a long or shorter walk he will adapt to your circumstances. Greg has an easy going demeanor, was quite knowledgeable about the geography, history, flora and wildlife of the areas. We were privileged to enjoy the 2 tours with him

My two days with Greg were amazing and fun

As a solo traveler and non driver getting off the beaten track is either impossible or too time consuming using public transport. I provided Greg with a list of everything I wanted to do and see, and got to do everything on my list and more. He took specific photos for me, did the Wedding Cake Rock walk at my pace which is pretty slow due to an injury, went swimming with me and located my obscure attractions. He is informative, organized, prepared, a great conversationalist, drives carefully, selects and prepares delicious food, and an all round lovely guy. I highly recommend Nimble Tours to anyone that wants a bespoke tour or hates tour groups.

Outstanding!

My wife, adult daughter, her boyfriend and I recently visited Sydney. We wanted to spend time in the Blue Mountains, but didn’t want to rent a car. We also wanted to avoid the “small tours” as they seemed impersonal. We came upon the “Blue Mountains” tour with Greg at Sydney Nimble Tours. It was a private tour for only the four of us, with Greg as our guide. This was one of the best decisions of our entire 3-week trip! Before we even arrived in Australia, he asked us about our sightseeing goals. Although there are stops already listed on the website for the tour, he was very flexible and wanted the day to be exactly as we wished. He made suggestions of things to add and subtract. He also adjusted the order of our tour to optimize smaller crowds. We wanted to do some hiking, and he recommended a hike with beautiful views and incredible rock formations. Greg picked us up from our hotel. He did all the driving, telling us various interesting facts along the way. He dropped us off at Scenic World for a visit and to ride the three rides, then picked us up and continued showing us spectacular views, stopping periodically for optimal lookouts and photo ops. We enjoyed a picnic lunch at a quiet grassy area near one of the lookouts and he made us sandwiches, served with side salads and drinks. He drove us deep into the mountains and we hiked the Butterbox Trail and saw stunningly unusual ironstone rock formations. Greg knew all about the rocks and flora and told us native lore and history from the area. We stopped by the Carrington Hotel in Katoomba for a late afternoon tea on our way back to Sydney. Greg was a tour guide extraordinaire! He was so kind and knowledgeable, a safe driver, local lore storyteller, knower of plants and rocks, hiking leader, and even took great photos along the way. We have been raving about our day with him in the Blue Mountains. We all highly recommend this Blue Mountains tour!

Fantastic day at Royal National Park

Absolutely brilliant. Greg was helpful, great advice and loved our day at the Royal National Park. The highlight being the stunning coastal walk and views, eagle rock (and the music). But then we stopped counting the whales after 30, waterfalls, lyrebird, swim, bridge - it was all fabulous. Beautiful lunch and a very enjoyable day.

Thanks Greg and we will definitely recommend you to others. I’m so appreciative to the person who recommended this tour to us.

A wonderful, pleasant, enjoyable tour

It was a wonderful experience going along with Anne Maree to the Symbio Wildlife Park where we were lucky to see the cassowary. The trip continued to the Bald Hill Lookout where the view was beautiful and then a walk along the iconic Sea Cliff Bridge. This was followed by a healthy lunch packed by Greg. The trip concluded with a memorable Rainforest Walk where Greg and Anne gave us informative details about the forest and then a visit to the scenic Wattamolla picnic area. Many memories made!

Definitely a 10-star trip

About to leave Australia after many years here so we decided to go somewhere interesting, and we’re glad we chose Greg from Sydney Nimble Tours to lead the way. Not our first tour with Greg but definitely the one most worth remembering! He took us to see so many breath-taking views and opened our eyes to a whole new different side of Blue Mountains. We enjoyed his hospitality and the talks along our long drives. Definitely a 10-star trip!

Blue Mountains and More

Greg picked us up for a three day trip that included the Blue Mountains, Capertee which hosts the second largest canyon in the world, Lithgow and Mudgee, with lots of sightseeing along the way. Greg is such easy company, knowledgeable and very flexible with what to see and do. Lunch, drinks and snacks were all provided, so all we had to do was enjoy ourselves, which of course we did. Thanks Greg for all your hard work, we were very appreciative and can highly recommend you.

Wonderful private tour

This tour was a first class, 5 star tour provided by our tour guide -- Greg. This was a private tour for just my wife and I and Greg did a wonderful job of making this day special for us. We were able to go and do things on this tour that you would not be able to do on a big bus tour. The driving through neighborhoods, the beaches visited, the short hikes and the National Park were all outstanding ---- and Greg even made lunch for us overlooking a beautiful beach and the spectacular ocean. This tour was more than we had expected it to be and we definitely recommend this tour and Greg to anyone who wants to spend a full day exploring the area around Sydney.

Blue Mountain exploring

Our day in the Blue Mountains with Greg was an amazing experience. His knowledge of the best hikes and lookouts enabled us to see and experience so much. He brought a delicious picnic lunch for us to enjoy that was a very nice touch! Our group highly recommends him for a truly high level personal guide experience at a very reasonable cost! Will certainly contact Greg again when we make our way back to Australia.

Great day out to Royal National Park with a professional driver/guide

We had a great experience joining this day tour to Royal National Park by Sydney Nimble Tours. It was a perfectly private guided tour, so we were able to decide what to do accordingly to the weather and our conditions. That day we had fine but a bit hot weather so our great driver/guide Greg took us to Big Marley Trail first thing in the morning (before the temperature goes too high) which led us to magnificent viewpoints overlooking Marley beach, Wedding Cake Rocks, other various incredible earth formations. That was really worthwhile. Then we took a delicious and healthy picnic lunch Greg prepared for us. When we walked he provided us with adequate cold water which was really essential in such a hot day, also some snacks and fruits. After the walk we visited Bold Hill Lookout where we enjoy fabulous landscape of NSW coastline including the Secret Bridge.

This tour was the highlight of our Sydney Trip

We had the best time on our private tour with Greg. He was very friendly and provided so much information throughout our time with him. There were plenty of options on which area we wanted to see in the royal national park.

We were very impressed with his knowledge on hidden gems throughout the park, we managed to visit a waterfall to ourselves where we got to swim and have lovely pictures taken. Greg provided a delicious lunch which was a nice way to recover from our hike to Eagle Rock (which we highly recommend seeing!) During the tour Greg was taking amazing photos which was sent to us after the tour, we also loved the T-shirt we got. The day with Greg was the highlight of our Sydney trip, we would recommend anyone visiting Sydney to do this tour!

Greg is a fantastic guide. Everything went so smoothly. From the hotel pick-up to providing us various option on our days adventure through lunch and other stops and back to our hotel. Greg made the entire tour fun and exciting and the views are breathtaking! This was a great tour and highly record it.

I wish there were 6 stars. Greg is very professional, sincere and committed. He made sure we had a great experience, be it the walk on Wedding Cake trail with panoramic views of the Pacific , be it the blowholes at Kiama, it was my first time and i loved it. The walk on the bridge near Coal cliff / Bald Hill almost got me excited to try Para Ponting. The sights were simply awesome. We had lunch by the beach and it was a wonderful afternoon. I will definitely come back for another trip.

An absolutely lovely day hiking – Highly recommended!

As a solo traveler and also first time visitor this private tour is ideal to go and see places which would have otherwise been quite difficult. Besides, it is really nice not having to think about transport and photos for once. Your guide will take care of you and send the photos afterward – only adding to your memories of this tour. Greg was really pleasant, accommodating and just great company. He was quick to sense what I wanted to see and made sure I saw some amazing views. The weather could have been better, so Greg quickly changed the program slightly so while it was raining, we went for a short walk in the rainforest. Which was perfect. Because of this change the tour for the White (Wedding Cake) Rock was in the afternoon and in dry weather. This is absolute one of the best tours I had while in Sydney.

Will look for Greg should I visit Sydney again

My friends and I loved every part of the trip especially having Greg as our tour guide. He is the most hardworking, passionate and nicest tour guide I have met thus far. He fed us with information along the way. He carefully guided us through the trails but he set strict rules about boundaries in us taking selfie too near to the edges for our safety. He prepared simple but yummy picnic lunch for us. He took great pictures for us. So glad to have have him as our superb tour guide.

The part that left a deep impression was at Lincoln's Rock. The sky was blue, the sun was setting. It was breath-taking. It was well worth the hike.

So thankful for the good weather and blessed to have Greg as our guide.

We took the Royal National Park with Greg, and it was an amazing experience. He is very nice and takes care of the customers. He rescheduled due to bad weather, at no extra cost and accommodate the itinerary to be the best possible given the weather conditions. We have visited the Symbio Wildlife park, which seems to take more consideration on animal ethics and conservation. I will totally recommend Nimble tours and will go with them again next time I visit Sydney.

An awesome walk to the wedding cake rock. It was a windy, rainy day but Greg guided us so well and helped us reach our destination. He even got delicious lunch for us. He took beautiful photographs with his DSLR camera and shared them with us! The limestone and sandstone rocks looked ethereal. Visit to the bald hills was also included in the trip. Nature up close and personal along gorgeous coastal trail

I knew we were in for an excellent experience when Greg took the time to help me find gluten free options for my celiac son while in Sydney weeks before we even arrived.

The excursion was nothing short of incredible. Greg knows RNP well and was able to share so much knowledge about the flora and fauna. He was attentive to safety (we had 8yo twins with us) while still providing opportunities to experience incredible views (I even spotted a migrating humpback from Marley Head!). He allowed the twins time to enjoy the dunes on Marley Beach.

When my son was sure he would never make it all the way back to the car, Greg was so patient and supportive.

And. AND. *We saw a wild echidna.* As a zoologist, this was an indescribable treat for me. It was lucky, but Greg knew how rare it was an allowed us plenty of time to observe it and take photos.

We did Symbio in the afternoon and had fun getting up close with the kangaroos and wallabies.

All in all, this day was simply incredible. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to explore the wildlife, plants, and geology of RNP while hiking a beautiful coastal trail.Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Lovely trip to Blue Mountains!

We highly recommend any of Greg’s tours; he went above and beyond to make our tour an enjoyable one. The tour was extremely flexible, and Greg let us spend at much time as we wanted at each site, without rushing us. He also gave us space but was always there to help or to give information whenever needed. He also helped us to take spectacular and high quality group pictures with his camera. For lunch, Greg made us sandwiches and had delicious salads, as well as cold drinks for refreshments. He also gifted us t shirts designed by himself and his family which was such a thoughtful gift! You will definitely be in safe hands with Greg— we were so glad and grateful to have had taken his tour to the Blue Mountains.

Greg was an amazing tour guide and we had the BEST time! The tour is tailored to your needs and wants, so for us we did the longer hike to Eagle Rock and swam under a waterfall in the middle of the hike, enjoyed the scenery at Garie Beach and Bald Hill Lookout (and got insider knowledge about the e-boards at Manly Beach), and got some spectacular views at Sea Cliff Bridge after a short hike. Long weekend in Sydney

Whenever Russell and I visit a city, regardless of whether we've visited before, we immediately book ourselves a city tour. Russell lived in Sydney for a significant period of his working life, whilst I'm a reasonably regular tourist visitor, so we have visited the major attractions. Greg's all day Off The Beaten Path of Inner Sydney was simply fabulous. Not only did we visit places and see areas where we simply would miss on a regular long weekend in Sydney, we learnt so much, had enormous fun and appreciated the great value for the day out. Greg is great guy - well organised, up to date knowledgeable and informed and comes with a 'nothing is to hard' really nice approach to his guests. Half way through the day, we took a picnic break at Uni of Sydney before heading to the Brett Whitely Gallery (a long time wish of mine), the streets of Balmain and a micro brewery. Seriously, if you are half hesitating about booking - DON'T - This tour was a highlight of our fabulous long weekend in Sydney.

To: Sydney with love

As Melbournians we have often visited Sydney but it was not until Greg took us on his Northern Beaches Tour that we really appreciated the natural beauty of the Harbour City.

From Wooloomooloo to the Hawkesbury and all the beaches in between this is a magnificent tour. With morning coffee (almost as good as Melbournes) to a picnic lunch in the Ku-ring-gui National Park everything was organised to perfection.

After 50 years touring the world this is one of the best private tours we have ever been on and it’s right in our own backyard.

Beautiful cliffs, coast, and waterfalls

I had an amazing day with Greg, doing two fantastic walks, one to Eagle Rock and another to Wedding Cake rock. Amazing scenery: waves crashing on rocks, waterfalls, craggy cliffs, and rock formations. This was a perfect daytrip, not too far, a good amount of walking but not too much. Greg was excellent as a guide: friendly, knowledgeable, easy going, eager to customize the trip to focus on what I wanted to see, and funny.
I especially appreciated him showing me off-the track spots that I wouldn't have seen myself, so I got a lot more out of it than I would have trying to do on my own.

Would Rate 10 Stars If We Could!

BOOK THIS TOUR IMMEDIATELY! YOU WON'T REGRET IT! Greg chauffeured us around the Sydney area for the PERFECT way to end our Sydney trip! As if his generous hospitality throughout our journey wasn't enough, he also offered to take professional photos of us throughout the day, sending the ones that turned-out best to us via email. We are so thankful to Greg for our time together!

We arrived at Royal National Park, and after a few quick stops for photos, we set-off for our trek to Wedding Cake Rock. Greg came prepared when we weren't--he offered granola bars, sunscreen, bug spray, hats, extra shirts, & cold water for the journey. This was especially appreciated as we were not nearly prepared enough for the heat. We began our journey and immediately recognized Greg's passion for sharing in this type of experience with his guests when he mentioned that there were what appeared to be caves in an area slightly off the path from the beginning of our hike that he hadn't ever checked-out. We jumped at the opportunity to see more, and it was well worth the extra time! Seeing the waves crash off the coast, the sandstone imprints and views were spectacular, and we hadn't really even begun our journey. As a heavier set guy, Greg was patient with us if we needed breaks and kept us informed of how far we had to go yet until we reached our destination.

After the hike and chugging ice cold Gatorade that Greg also provided, we had a short trip to Wattamolla Beach where we saw wild lizards sunbathing and people enjoying a swim in the lagoon as we ate a delicious lunch of meatball & rocket sandwiches and rocket salad, again provided by Greg. He also took care of the set-up and clean-up, allowing us to walk down by the lagoon for some photos.

Following lunch we drove more, enjoying the sights of the local flora. We drove by sights of Sea Cliff Bridge before heading to Symbio Wildlife Park where we fed Kangaroos, saw Koalas (including a baby!), dingos, echidnas, emus, and so much more! We enjoyed our time at the park tremendously! Following Symbio we continued our trek through the park to the Bald Hill Lookout & Hang Gliding Spot for another quick photo op before finishing our day at Garie Beach, admiring the sunset and walking along the low tide pools in the rocks.

This experience is well worth the price and Greg was so patient, kind, and informative. We especially enjoyed this tour because of how it was catered to us personally & we were not in larger group.

Amazing guided tour

We were picked up by Greg at our hotel and he personally escorted us to many, and varied, sites. We were thrilled with the complete attention to our needs and wants during this time and Greg was willing to change up our list of sites to see based on our conversation during the time we were together. He was thoughtful and made a point of taking our photo in various places. We even got to watch a cricket match while enjoying a lovely picnic lunch. At the end of the day, we stopped at a micro-brewery before we were dropped off, again at our hotel. And in less than 12 hours after our trip, we've also gotten copies of the photos he took

Thank you, Greg.

My husband and I were in Sydney for our 24th anniversary. We wanted to a tour that took us some of the places that were not so touristy and "off the beat and path." Greg provided an amazing, informative tour and took us to places we would have never heard of that were just beautiful! Since we already had spent time at the harbour he customized our tour with other amazing stops outside of Sydney and it was awesome to have the dialogue and history from a local perspective. Greg was a fun, informative guide and his tour was a highlight of our trip. We loved his fun, easy going manner and his flexibility. My husband and I highly reccommend his tours! We truly enjoyed our adventure to The Royal National Park with Greg. He was very flexible with our itinerary, as we were traveling with our toddler daughter, and made adjustments for us along the way. The scenic hike with lookouts along the coast was beautiful, and we even saw some whales offshore! Greg showed us a lot of nice viewpoints in the park, and packed a picnic lunch for us which we ate at a small town beach where our daughter could swim. It was very convenient to travel with him as he picked us right up and dropped us off at our hotel, did as little or as much as we wanted, and offered advice on sites to see and places to eat. We couldn't have asked for a better guide and driver for our National Park Adventure. Bespoke Inner City Sydney Tour

We had a great day with our guide Greg. Particularly impressed with his willingness to adapt the tour to suit us. Allowed us more or less time if we wanted it. Suggested a great place to eat before showing us some interesting, out of the way, art galleries. Very different to Sydney Art Gallery!

At central park the mix of old colonial architecture & ultramodern buildings was very interesting. Greg’s knowledge of the building’s history & his awareness of the eco principles behind Central Park helped us appreciate the area more.

Never realized how a heliostat reflector system works.

A Great Day in Sydney’s Harbour and Beaches!

“We had a fantastic one day tour with Greg from Sydney Nimble Tours! We explored the east coast of Sydney and swam at Coogee Beach, did some scenic coast walks, visited the Brett Whitely studio in Surry Hills - that was a great gallery!
I mentioned to Greg I was interested in performing arts and he took me to NIDA! Made my day!
Thank you for such a lovely day”

“Sydney Nimble’s Tour to the Blue Mountains is not to be missed! Tour leader Greg is a wonderful host and covered all the bases including the Three Sisters, Blackheath and Wentworth Falls. The Carrington Hotel is also a highlight. Highly recommended.

Incredible Tour of Sydney!

We had a great, customized tour of Sydney. Nimble Tours crafted our tour to our specific interests, which were quite varied, and they delivered all day long. We did everything from historic sites, incredible vistas, swimming on a hot day, great food, and an overall terrific, educational, and invigorating time.
